The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing woman.

Angela Anwhatin, 42, was last seen on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 11 p.m., in the Spadina Road and Bloor Street West area.

She is described as Aboriginal, 5’4”, 128 lbs, with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white puffy jacket, jeans, running shoes and carrying a large black purse.

While looking for an update on Angela, I found this article. It appears her sister was the victim of a rape/murder in 2008 (the perpetrator was caught and convicted). Saying a prayer for Angela and her family tonight & hoping they won't have another tragedy to endure.

Thanks for the update, that case was particularly horrific, imo.
Hoping that Angela is located soon, her family must be beyond worried for her safety.

Part of the savage attack on Lavalley, 36, was captured in a 911 call placed shortly before she was killed in her Brampton apartment. The call stretched on for 19 minutes, during which a dispatcher could hear as she was attacked, raped and strangled to death.

Hurd was arrested when police found him naked inside the apartment. He admitted to sexually assaulting Lavalley while her hands were tied behind her back, but said he was incapable of understanding what he was doing.
