Hayward police searching for missing woman last seen at party

Hayward, California -
Hayward police are searching for a missing 22-year-old woman last seen at a party Saturday in Hayward, according to police.

Police said Stacy Xanthe Aguilar, of San Jose, was last seen at the party near Silva Avenue and Jackson Street at around 11 p.m. She is described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing about 185 pounds, with long, brown hair.

The case of a missing San Jose woman, who was last seen at a party in Hayward, is now being investigated as a homicide, according to Hayward police Sgt. Ryan Cantrell.

Police said they are still searching for a suspect connected to the death of Stacey Aguilar, 22.

Police said Stacey Xanthe Aguilar, of San Jose, was last seen at the party near Silva Avenue and Jackson Street at around 11 p.m.

The woman who hosted the party and lives at the home said that Aguilar left around 1 a.m. with her boyfriend. She said both had been drinking, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Aguilar's family in San Jose reported her missing following a house party she attended in Hayward.

Police interviewed people and investigated a crime scene, but are only saying they believe Aguilar was killed in Hayward. People who live at the house on Silva Avenue near Jackson Street say the 22-year-old left the birthday party with her boyfriend unharmed.

The LE are stating that she was murdered! I'm assuming there must be a crime scene with her blood. But, they don't know where her body is. Could it of happened at the party?
 
The victim's stepfather said that the family is frustrated because Hayward police have instructed them not to search for Aguilar. However, someone has been using her credit cards, he said.

Aguilar's stepfather said she lived in San Jose and worked as a waitress in the area. The woman also has a 7-year-old son, who went to live with her mother after she was deported to Mexico.

Ugh! She was last seen by her bf. No wonder this will not end well.
I'm sad for her family that it's a homicide investigation now.
In regards to her credit cards being used, they could have been found somewhere, or people/person I'd using them to make her family believe that she's alive and well?!
 
On Sunday morning, the family of Aguilar, who police say was murdered, will be searching for her in Hayward. Family and friends will be meeting at a shopping center off Amador and Jackson near the 24 Hour Fitness in Hayward at 10 a.m. Sunday. They say they plan to search the area and nearby woods for any sign of Aguilar.

Stacey Aguilar was last seen alive at a party Saturday night at a home near Jackson Street and Silva Avenue.

Aguilar's family is asking the public to help. Aguilar is a server and divorced mother of two with a 7-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter.

I saw this on NBC Bay Area's facebook. Apparently her family knew Saturday and called off the search. How sad for them :(
