Coopers Furnace Hiking Trail, Bartow County, Georgia -
Authorities in Bartow County are actively searching for a high school teacher who didnt show up for work on Monday.
According to Cartersville police, Scott Salters vehicle was found in the Coopers Furnace Hiking Trail parking lot, but he has not been found.
Salter, a teacher at Cass High School, reportedly likes to hike off trail, authorities said.
The Cartersville Police Department has responded with a search drone, along with the Sheriffs Office, the Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of Natural Resources.
