Driver Swerves To Miss Cat, Fatally Strikes Teenager
A driver who swerved to avoid a cat in the road instead struck a skateboarding teenager, killing him.
Kevin Rivers, 17, of Jacksonville, was standing by the side of the road with his skateboard just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday when he was hit, police said. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
The driver, whose name was not released, told police he swerved the car to avoid a cat. Investigators said the driver would not be charged because Rivers had been standing partially in the road. http://www.channelcincinnati.com/new...85/detail.htmlJust when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........
Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?
