Update coming soon, gathering at the hospital. Shooting appears to have happened in the police station as the shooters made their way into the station and ambushed the officers in the station. Officer was shot in the chest and is in grave condition not sure how many others were shot.... still awaiting the update. Believe the suspect caught surrendered at a popeyes. (from live news)

Holy Cow! IN the police station? I wonder if they came there to do this intentionally or if they were being arrested........... ???

2nd scene at Landover Rd. & Firehouse Rd. Where it appears suspect was arrested after officer shot by active shooter

We have a 2nd suspect in custody. Prelim: we do not believe there are outstanding suspects but investigation is in early stages.

Also reporter said a 2nd person was shot... didn't say if it was LE or civilian
 
GOD help us all, no one is really safe! LE just doing their daily work......ambushed............sad!

Spencer reports there is still no confirmation the "active shooter" situation has been resolved and there is still a large police presence in the hospital. Residents are still being encouraged to shelter in place and avoid the earea.

this is the same area that saw brand new officer Ashley Guindon killed her first day of active duty as well as two other officers shot during a routine domestic call.

How horrible for the community. :(
