Greenville police officer killed in line of duty
Greenville Police Chief Ken Miller did not immediately identify the officer who was pronounced dead at a hospital. Miller declined to name him until all the family has been notified.

I wonder if this^ fam friend knew that this 17 y/o "good kid" -
--- "was in an “established gang” within the community," and
--- more importantly "had been convicted as an adult of a strong armed robbery last July." (per Police Chief Miller)bbm

Jacobs, who joined the military at 17, was a decorated veteran who fought in the Iraq War. When Vining and his family transitioned from the military, he said they struggled with finding a place to live. That's when Jacobs took them in.
