Richardson was last seen saying he was going into the woods on Dec. 3 at his home in Surveyor, Raleigh County. Police said he was reported missing on Dec. 7 Richardson has two daughters, ages 5 and 3. His birthday is on Wednesday. Before he disappeared, he worked as a line cook and dish washer at Cracker Barrel. Chaz He was seen in Raleigh County wearing a blue or gray hoodie, blue jeans and red tennis shoes . He was also driving a Gray or Silver Dodge Durango.

His mother deserves to know where he is, the mother of his babies deserves answers so when his children ask her why they haven't seen their daddy she can tell them why! And more than anything these 2 little girls who love him so much, miss him so much, need their father.

Surveyor (WVVA) Family and friends are looking for answers after a Raleigh County man disappears in Surveyor.
Sheriff's deputies said Chaz Alfred Richardson walked into the woods on December 3rd and never came back.
"He had two little girls who he thought the world of. He was trying to grow up finally," said Richardson's brother Aaron Crump.
Crump said the last time he spoke to his brother was on November 29, 2015. He said Richardson was trying to start a savings account and turn his life around. Little did he know, his whole world was about to change.

It was especially devastating to her cousins who were more like siblings. Especially Chaz Richardson.
'Chaz just loved Melanie," Sandra said of her two grandchildren. "They were close."
But just how closely the cousins' lives would resemble one another nine years later is haunting.
"I said it can't happen twice in one family. It just can't, it's impossible, but the impossible happened," Wellington said.
May 1, 2017 marked 514 days since her son, Chaz, vanished.
