curtclogston.jpg

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking leads in its investigation of a Kendall County man who went missing last week.
Curt Clogston, 67, was reported missing Thursday, March 17, after his wife came home that day from an out-of-town trip and could not find him at home or anywhere else.

Curt Clogston was last seen by Mario S Garcia on Tuesday morning March 15, 2016. At about that time he texted his wife Danica MacRae. This is the last she has heard from him. It is believed Curt may have purchased gas at the Shell station in Spring Branch, TX on US HWY 281 sometime on Wednesday March 16, 2016. Curt is in fragile health and may be disoriented.

I don't believe the fragile health part. Someone suggested they use that phrase in order to get a silver alert issued. His wife said there was nothing wrong with his health.

So puzzled with all the conflicting information in the links above. Seems he was last seen on Tuesday, 3/15 in the morning by a neighbor and then again "by someone who knows him well" in Boerne on Saturday, 3/20. Wife came home on Thursday from trip to New Mexico and reported him missing but someone saw him the following Saturday? Family friend says health is fragile but wife says he is fine? So, questions off the top of my head....

1) Was he expected in the office after Monday, 3/14?
2) Did he call into the office on 3/15 or after?
3) Does he have children? If yes, have they talked with him?
4) Was he known to pick up hitchhikers?

Based on information in the Boerne Star FB post, he was seen at his home in Boerne on Tuesday morning, "may" have bought gas in Spring Branch on Wednesday and his phone pinged to Berghiem on Thursday. Link below is a simple google map of those three places.

Something just feels so "off" on the whole situation....

If his phone pinged at Bergheim he could have been heading to Guadalupe State Park. Or have been at the park.. wonder if he's an outdoorsy guy... or if they have checked the park for his car.

“He disappeared on the 15th and on the 20th. He was seen in Boerne by somebody who knows him very well,” said Chief Deputy Larry Ripley.

MacRae said the last time she spoke to her husband was on her return trip from New Mexico. She said Clogston told her that he’d had a case of food poisoning, and even went home early that Monday. But when she got home two days later, there was no sign of Clogston or his vehicle, a two-tone Mini Cooper that still hasn’t been found."

Ok so if he was really seen on the 20th in his home town then that means his wife was home on the 17th then he would have been wondering around for several days after she got back? I wonder how big the office is that he works for. Maybe he made up a story about food poisoning on that Monday as an excuse to leave and setting up an excuse to be out for the week. I would also imagine if he was a medical director and didn't show the next day people would have been calling his phone like crazy on Tuesday wondering where the heck he was.

Having trouble with new puter and links. My apologies...If anyone has the patience, go to this link, then local news. Continue down the news margin list to 3 days ago (4/1/16) and you will see his picture. Click on his pix and you will see his wife in video sit-down interview and you can read the story. Sorry, again for the complication.

In his new wife's interview you see the sign for Visiting Physicians where he was doing out-call visits in the homes of patients.

.

I didn't watch the video yet. I actually went to Boerne on the way to see Kerrville last October when my son graduated AF boot camp. It was a beautiful area and remember seeing it in magazines ---ah the Texas Hill Country--Anyway I could imagine there were all kinds of roads he could go down if you've ever been there driving on the interstate from San Antonio it seemed to me you just get out of San Antonio and there you are in Boerne.

Anyway I guess they are contacting all his patients he was scheduled to see to see if he made it there. It still doesn't explain to me his sighting on the 20 in Boerne. http://www.ksat.com/news/boerne-physician-missing-nearly-three-weeks

This link should get anyone directly to the interview.
