Danny Moser died on Oct. 22, 2001. Police found his body in the parking lot of the Wagon Wheel roller rink in Mills. But they never found the killer.
The process is always the same. New information comes to light. Police reach out to the family, and then the press does. But then the police hit another dead end. The press fades away.
Its been like that for 15 years. But Chasity thinks this time is different.
Crime Stoppers of Central Wyoming announced in January that new information had come to light in Dannys death. The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation has taken over the case.
We have an open and active investigation, DCI Director Steve Woodson said.
Woodson did not say what the new information is.
Chasity always questioned if she would find out what happened to the man she loved. Now, shes hopeful. The Kimmells eventually found justice for their daughter, she says. And crime-solving technology has improved.
And theres something else. This time just feels different.
Every bit of my being right now believes we will see justice for Danny, she said.
