One Year Later: Jonathan Blackwell Still Missing
Authorities say there's still no sign of a local Marine reported missing a year ago
Jonathan Blackwell was last seen near his Reidsville home in October 2004. A week after his disappearance, his car was found burned.
Friday morning, investigators with the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office were back at the scene where his car was found.
"The biggest thing, when you get a hot lead you run with it," said Sgt. Marcus Marshall. "All of a sudden, you exhaust that lead. But we must remain hopeful and continue to fight."

Mary Blackwell said a year without her son has been the "hardest and most difficult time I can remember in my life."
Anyone with information about Blackwell should call the sheriff's office at (336) 349-9683
