About 15 friends and family members gathered at Wal-Mart and started the search.
The group canvassed several mobile home parks, a hotel and businesses hoping to generate some new information about Rachel’s whereabouts.
Amber Prosser, Rachel’s aunt, said she is optimistic her niece is alive and OK, despite Sunday’s search not yielding much new information.
“We’re just going to continue to try and pass out fliers and try to get any information we can,” she said.
Taylorville Police Chief Dave Herpstreith said on the phone Sunday detectives continue to follow up on leads. Police did not join Sunday’s search effort.

She's been missing two months. Taylorville police say it believes Barrish ran away from home. Barrish's family is looking for answers and for Rachel to come home.

"We all went to bed and she said I love you mom and everything and she was gone the next morning when I got the kids up for school," said Shelly Spinnie, Rachel's step-mom.

The family believes Rachel is with her boyfriend and believes the pair left Illinois

The Article has been updated that she was found safe in PA - the 44 year old man, driver of the vehicle, was arrested on outstanding warrant ... I wonder if she knew this man or was he the "boyfriend"?

I don't usually post in the missing person's forum, but this ended up being local to me. Here's an article from th paper that has quite a bit of info:

    Glad Rachel was found safe.

Wow, that article makes you realize how incredibly awful this whole situation could have turned out to be. Thank goodness Rachael appears to be safe and unharmed! I hope the trucker they arrested is prosecuted to the full extent of the law. It's not a very technical term, LOL, but he sounds like a real creep.
