    Police calls: Missing woman sought
A 30-year-old man told police Friday at 3:43 a.m. his wife had gone missing. He said he is out of town for business and his wife dropped the kids off at his parents house to go shopping and has not returned.

I think this is Mansfield Ohio, not New Jersey.

Another one with so little information. My hinky meter always goes off when a mother disappears and children are left behind. Not that some mothers wouldn't leave their kids intentionally but I think it goes against human nature for most.

IMO of course. Prayers for all involved.

I know, Paulas. I get a different vibe overall because of the husband being out of town but I don't know how to put it into words?

Like would a person use that type of opportunity to just run away from it all?

I say that because my ex husband dropped me off at the airport when I was going to visit family for a couple of weeks. When I returned he along with all of his belongings were gone from the house. He had "moved" to Florida with another woman!! I ever saw him again. He told me later he couldn't face me and tell me so my being out of town was the perfect opportunity.

I am not saying that is the case here of course bc we know so little. Just speculating with a non-objective skew to it bc of my experience I guess.

My brain went to the same place. I used to know a woman who did the exact same thing - took off and moved away while her husband was out of town. My husband was on a hunting/camping trip with the man and when they came home she was gone. His wife had given him the trip as a gift. It was all pretty sick and extremely cruel.

Sadly it relieves me a little to know I'm not the only person that's happened to.

I just so wish we had more information on this case. I need the Google.

Ok so we basically know what?

Husband was out of town. Where? For how long?

Did he return home to find his wife missing or was he notified by the grandparents that were caring for the children?

What is the woman's name? How long were the kids at the grandparents before they started to worry?

No SM information yet. Only that husband notified LE at 3:43 am.
