MISSING: 21-year-old woman from Garfield Heights

Natalie Perez was last seen April 6 at her home on Blythin Road. She left the home around 2 p.m. after an argument.

Perez is 4-foot-11, 85 pounds, with curly black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a light-gray sweater, light-color jeans with holes and black shoes. She also was carrying a black purse with yellow-green lettering. She had no cell phone or money.

Police continue search for missing Garfield Heights woman

Garfield Heights are searching for a woman who left home three weeks ago and never returned. Natalie Perez, 21, was last seen by her family on April 6, police said in a statement Thursday. She suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and has been without her medication in the time since she went missing.

Last year, she met a man through social media who bought her a plane ticket to California, her mother said. Her family did not know where she was, but they got a hold of her at the airport and made her come home before she made the trip.

Found deceased: "The family of Natalie Perez told newsnet5.com Sunday that the body found in a vacant East 143rd Street home Saturday belonged to the 21-year-old."

"A group of teenagers found Perez's body while cutting through the yard of the home around 2 p.m. Saturday."
