    His FB profile: https://www.facebook.com/vflewelling?fref=ts

With a social media search is appears that his mother passed away in mid-February. Hoping that depression is not an issue.

And this one is from almost seven years ago:

"Hamlin Grocery Owner Vaughn Flewelling who said Harder embezzled almost $500,000 from his business said the sentencing is the first step to closure for him."

"Harder’s restitution totals $572,410.24. It includes $495,138.67 for Hamlin Grocery ..."

Vaughn Flewelling's disappearance is labeled "voluntary" at this point by the Mason County Sheriff's Department.

That brings us to that license plate that should have been on Flewelling's Lincoln, also not seen since Sunday night. "So the plate had been switched by Vaughn or another party we don't know," says Sheriff Cole. "But the plate that we put out in the original BOL is the plate that belongs on that Lincoln, however that plate is not on that Lincoln."

In fact, the plate was found on another car at Flewelling's home, a non-operating car parked in his yard.

Ugh. This sounds like foul play is involved.
I wonder if any money is missing. When does he make the daily deposits.
    I hope he is found.

Yeah, my first thought was foul play - he was seen closing up, likely he was going to make a deposit (or someone watching might have thought so). I don't feel like this is voluntary at all.

I suppose it's possible that he is financial trouble and took what he could get his hands on and took off.....but I'm more inclined to believe that foul play may have occurred. JMO.

"Sheriff Kim Cole told MOM news that the safe hadn't been tampered with and there was no evidence of missing cigarettes, liquor or lottery tickets. The sheriff said the most important clue will be when his Lincoln Town Car is found. A nationwide bulletin has been issued in the case."

This is my hometown. I used to work with Vaugh's mother and completely forgot that she passed away. Vaugh is well-liked by many and it's very unsettling that this happened. As always, there is a lot of buzz and speculation. I don't know what to think at this point but I am leaning towards him needing a break and voluntarily taking off on his own. I'm just not sure he wouldn't have contacted LE by now to say he is ok. This is a very small town where everyone knows everyone else...and their business.

It concerns me that the above article (from yesterday) says, "If evidence points to this being an involuntary missing person, that same bulletin will be sent out nationally," and then now (or as of 3:24 this afternoon) WMOM is reporting that "(a) nationwide bulletin has been issued in the case." This is only a couple of hours away from me. I will definitely be keeping an eye out (at least his car would be fairly easy to spot, I think: A 2006, tan/cream Lincoln Town Car)!
