County search and rescue continuing search for missing Depoe Bay woman

Lincoln County Search and Rescue teams are combing the Depoe Bay area looking for 22 year old Katy Roe. She was last seen at the Wing Wa Restaurant & Lounge around 2 this morning.

Is there more to this story? She was last seen at the bar at 2:30 a.m., an adult.

A full scale search involving sheriff's posse, firefighters, coast guard helicopters and two motor lifeboats were assembled at 5:30 a.m.

I don't think I've ever seen such an enormous full-scale search launched in the wee hours for a woman leaving a bar.

Leaving a bar at 2:30 am with water so close by is always concerning. In addition she is very petite and would be very easy to overpower.

Her grandmother talked to the deputies and when Katy did not arrive at "her residence in the Southpoint area of Depoe Bay", there was a search for her in the area then LE was called. It sounds like "the caller" was her grandmother, imoo.

Thanks for the map. An article I linked mentioned the south point area as her residence, and I can see south point street on the map.

Katy works in the town I live in. That first facebook profile is not her, however....but the second one definitely is. I sure hope they find her soon.

Katharine Katie Olivia Roe was missing on Sunday morning when her grandmother reported that she had not come home. She was reportedly last seen leaving the Wing Wa Restaurant around 2:00 a.m. Sunday. She was walking to her house in the Southpoint area of Depoe Bay.

She is 4-feet-9, weighs around 90 pounds, with long brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants, a white long sleeve shirt and a black fleece vest. She is likely wearing black tennis shoes and carrying a backpack.

Hey on the off chance do you know the area she was last seen in and any info on cctv or witnesses. It would be good to find out what kind of state she was in when she left and who she was with.
