Sources tell the news station investigators don't believe the attacks were random. All seven people who died were family members, according to WKRC.

Peebles High School and all Adams County Ohio Valley Schools went on lockdown, Fox 19 in Cincinnati adds.

A spokeswoman for Ohio's attorney general Mike DeWine told the Chillicothe Gazette nobody had been arrested as of Friday morning.

The bureau sent crime scene investigators, special investigators, criminal intelligence agents and cyber crime investigators, Fox 19 adds. Officials told WLWT they sent so many agents because they're not sure exactly what unfolded at the home.

Police responded to a home with as many as seven fatalities in a small Ohio town east of Cincinnati on Friday morning.

"We are sending everybody," an official at Ohio's Bureau of Criminal Investigation told WLWT, the NBC affiliate in Cincinnati.

A dozen BCI agents were dispatched to Peebles (pop. 1,771) at 8:21 a.m. at the request of the Pike County Sheriff's Office, the official said. Peebles is about 65 miles east of Cincinnati...

CINCINNATI - A shooting involving multiple fatalities was reported in rural Ohio on Friday morning, but details on the number of deaths and the whereabouts of the suspect or suspects weren't immediately clear.

The attorney general's office said a dozen Bureau of Criminal Investigation agents had been called to Pike County, an economically struggling area in the Appalachian region some 80 miles east of Cincinnati. Spokesman Dan Tierney says the Pike County sheriff's office requested state help at 8:20 a.m.

Tierney had no information on whether a suspect was in custody. He also had no confirmation on the number of fatalities...

The one property is a junk yard. No active shooter per WCPO link. Waiting for search warrants. My sister had been there years ago to buy lawn mower parts. Said it was a creepy place and never wanted to go back there.

I have never been to a junkyard that did not give me the creeps!
 
I am fairly good at transcribing and have a small amount of experience with emergency dispatching (had a medical transcribing job that helped put me through pharmacy school and worked for a short time as a volunteer EMT). I will try to find the Broadcastify channel (is it Ashland County or Ashton County? Wysteria, do you know?). Thanks for the help in advance. If I hear anything I will post downstairs for anyone who is interested :)
 
I am listening to Ross county-next door to Pike County-there are 86 listeners-Pike County has no public scanner feed that I can find. If I hear anything relevant I will do as you said also KayElJay.
