That was the last time Schalow heard anything from her daughter.
The night Russo went missing, she told Schalow she was meeting up with some friends and would be home the next day.*
“She never came home, and her phone has been shut off since then,” Schalow told 12 News.*
Maricopa Police are investigating Russo’s disappearance as a missing person's case.*
Russo's mother says the fact that the 24-year-old hasn't shown up to work or contacted her family is extremely out of character.*
She said she can't help but feel her daughter is in danger.*
“I think there's foul play involved,” Schalow*said. *“I think someone has her. I'm hoping that she's okay and will come home to us safe.”
According to Schalow, Russo did occasionally use online dating sites.
She can't help but fear: maybe her daughter met up with someone who had bad intentions.
Her family also said Russo has several tattoos that could help identify her, including wings on her wrists and Tigger and Eeyore hugging by a tree on her back.*
