A 63-year-old woman suffering from Alzheimer's Disease has been missing for five days after wandering away from her daughter's home in Delano.

Mangohig lives in Glendora, but she was in Delano for the week to visit. Somehow she got out of the house when nobody was looking. She doesn't have any money or her purse.

She would not know where Glendora is or how to get back there.

Sorry to hear :( Not a great place to go missing; I lived in the neighboring town of Wasco.....Delano is getting bigger but the area and surrounding area is heavily based in agriculture, thousands of acres of endless farmland (mostly almond trees which make it even harder to view). Thankfully it looks to be cooler today but back up into the high 80s and mid 90's this week....it's encouraging someone at least saw her on a local highway, lots of trucks going that route....hopefully she got that ride home after all.

Details of Disappearance​

Mangohig was last seen at a residence in Delano, California at 2:30 p.m. on April 29, 2016. She has never been heard from again. Mangohig was very physically fit at the time of her disappearance and enjoyed going for walks in the area. She lives in Glendora, California, but was visiting Delano for the week when she disappeared.

She was able to leave the house without anyone realizing it, and without her purse, cash or the tracking device she normally wore around her neck. Few details are available in her case.
