NY NY - Sherri Orofino, 24, Bayside, Queens, 1 March 1987

Police said that on March 1, 1987, Sherri Orofino was visiting a friend in Bayside, Queens, New York. She left Bayside after 3:00 a.m. for her residence in Millbrook, Dutchess County, driving a black 1987 Toyota MR-2.

On March 3, 1987, the State Police were contacted by Sherri’s husband who stated that she hadn’t arrived home. During the course of the investigation, Troopers learned that Orofino’s abandoned vehicle was located... on Route 134 in the Town of Yorktown.
