On May 4, 2016, Gary Simpson, uncle, removed CT from school early explaining she may be gone the following day as well. He explained his actions to school personnel stating Cs father had been injured in a serious accident. He and 9 year old C have been missing since.

The school released C to Gary Simpson because he and his wife had previously had custody of C and her younger sibling and school records still showed them as authorized emergency contacts with pick-up authority. The Simpsons live just down the road from C's father and were still very involved in her daily life. Mrs. Simpson has expressed concerns. She doesn't know why Gary has taken C.

Gary Simpson has not contact anyone or returned calls from his wife. Mrs. Simpson and her brother, C's father, had no idea C was missing until she did not get off the school bus Wednesday afternoon and called the school to inquire why.

Mr. Simpson's wife, C's paternal aunt, says “I think she’s in a lot of danger. I don’t see why you would kidnap a kid if you weren’t up to something bad.”

"Bring her home Gary. We will get you some kind of help, some way somewhere, but you know you've got to bring C home. You can't keep her. You know you can't," said Linda Simpson. "You've got to bring her home. Stop and think and let reality hit you in the head. You've got to stop and think what you're doing. I mean this is crazy."



TBI has released video of Simpson at Walmart purchasing what TBI referred to as "camping" items and the items shown below:



There is video footage of Simpson and Carlie in a local Save a Lot. Purchased were several non perishable food items.

TBI says Simpson took out a substantial amount of cash. from his bank account(s)

Simpson is believed to be traveling in a white 2002 Dodge Conversion Van with TN registration 173-GPS. The van has a dark stripe down the middle with light gold running boards and paint is chipping off of the hood.


US Marshals are offering $5,000 reward for information.
C's pediatrician is offering $10,000 for information leading to her safe return.
A musician has offered to give proceeds earned up to $5,000

I can tell you last summer there was a canoe rental store, we rented three of them and floated the water in that same area. If it was closed down I am guessing it's a possibility. But in August we rented them, also he could have purchased one, or even had one stashed somewhere along the way.

Again I don't think it's them personally, however I don't want to discredit someone simply because of one picture and my inability to fully see everything. MOO

Truthfully I would like it to be them, that way we know that LE is hot on their tails!!

Thank you! I'm from west Tennessee and this case is really bothering me.

Josh DeVine, a TBI spokesman, revealed to media what Gary Simpson bought at Walmart before he took Carlie, his niece, out of school Wednesday. Those items include a blanket, a green men's shirt, black men's pants, khaki girl's pants, girl's underwear, purple and green nail polish, lipsticks, pink child's camp chair, purple child's nightgown and a bikini.

I cannot believe I didn't notice this sooner! He has different glasses on in these pics than the original one released! In the original pics his glasses were rounder and the ones he has now are more rectangle.

It seems like the shadow of the bridge in the pic might be of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad bridge.

There doesn't appear to be anything touristy near it, although there are a couple of houses. Don't see anything along the river in either direction that could be a canoe rental place.

And:

The person in the front appears to be sitting on something pink. To me it looks like they're on the front bench.

That's not for 75 lbs though... and the child looks very small to me (compared to Carlie).

To me, the guy in the canoe looks younger than Gary.

However, you never know. It isn't the most clear photo in the world.

I hope the national media picks up the photo and circulates it like crazy so that if it is, in fact, not Gary and Carlie that whoever it IS on the canoe will come forward to LE so LE can rule out this tip and move on.

As always, praying for Carlie. This has gone on too long.
