A 23-year-old and his 1-year-old daughter are missing.
Family tells CBS13 he left Antioch heading back to Sacramento Sunday night, but never made it.
“He said, ‘I’m on my way to Sacramento, I’m on my way home,’ and he just has vanished,” said Karla Jackson, Kyler’s mother.

did he take route 4? is it possible he ended up in the delta? I hope not :(

ok they say he goes to 160 n through locke to the 5. any map experts here? is this along the delta with the river bridges etc?

This is sad, he appears to love his daughter very much.

I am nowhere near an expert on maps, but this looks like ending up in water is a definite possibility.

ETA: is the route I included even correct?

oh yep it is a distinct possibility. and those roads are pretty country (goes straight from concrete to gravel) if he fell asleep at the wheel and didn't brake, they may not see signs of going in the water. I certainly hope not. I hope they are ok.

Based off of what family told the Alameda County Sheriff's Department, Rio Vista Coast Guard crews on Tuesday conducted a "Good Samaritan" search of river areas along Highway 160, the route it's suspected the pair took. Crews said they found no evidence of a car going into the water.

Why does his family think his truck ended up in the water? Did his pings end exactly in a particular spot or something?

checking toll records is a good idea.

Jayona says Kyler was driving his silver Ford Taurus with California license plate 4WV944.

Jayona said Kyler always takes Highway 160 to get home and is pleading with law enforcement to check the Antioch toll bridge records to see if he even passed through. The family fears he may have been tired and could have possibly driven into the Sacramento River.

Still nothing, no updates at all. I feel so bad for their family and friends.

Antioch: Search for missing man, 1-year-old daughter, shifts to Sacramento
The search for a missing man and his 1-year-old daughter shifted to Sacramento on Thursday, but police said they don't consider their disappearance suspicious.

Kyler Jackson, 23, and his daughter Kaylee were last seen about 11 p.m. Sunday night after the pair left Antioch, where they were visiting Kaylee's mother, Jayonna Mason.

he has to be in the water..... has to... as much as I hope not :( have they tried pinging his phone? no hits on the license, and he lives in the state capital, so I don't think hes there.

I am going to just link to the twitter page because the news site is sharing a tweet made by someone else who isn't a newscaster. Just scroll down to the tweets made by KD 2 hours ago.
