I am a volunteer with the nonprofit group Can You Identify Me, based in Henderson Nevada. I was asked to do a couple of reconstructions for them, one of which was this man.

Numerous clothing items were found with his body, but it seems like too many items to all be worn over each other. This occurred in the month of March in Cleveland, so perhaps it was so cold that he needed to wear multiple layers of clothing and coats.

I thought that too MOO. My husband is Asian and I've lived much of the past 25 years in Asia, my first thought was Native American rather than Asian. Also if he was local to where he was found, their population stats currently show a very small percentage of Asians and I'm pretty sure the percentage wouldn't have been higher in 1997.

If nothing else this will serve as a bump. :D It's a long shot for sure. I have not been able to find anything that would confirm this so please consider it speculation.

*advertiser censored* Fong Lee left home in Vancouver, B.C. for a walk in March 1989. Is it possible he made his way to Ohio where 8 years later he met with foul play and was killed? Could it be that his homicide was a result of someone from his Vancouver past settling a debt with Mr. Lee?

All physical descriptors pretty much match up including not having teeth. I realize John Doe wore dentures and there is no mention of dentures for Mr. Lee, but perhaps he started a new life in '89 eventually becoming successful enough to afford dentures or some type of insurance that provided him with a set. As I said it is an unlikely long shot but I can't get beyond the mostly matching description and the similarities b/w his pic and the composites.

@YaYa_521 I think it couldn't help to submit him - looking at the number of ruleouts it does look like LE are actively trying to solve this one. I wonder why there are so many Californian MPs ruled out. Perhaps the family had connections to CA.

This one doesn't have a file on NamUs but I think it couldn't hurt to submit him to doe network if anyone knows how to do that. I have never submitted a possible to them before so I'm not sure how but if someone else knows can you please submit him just to see if they think he's even possible.
