Canada - Leduc Co., AB, Skeletal Remains on rural property, Jun'16
Police said the discovery of human bones was reported to police around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. When police arrived at the rural property in Leduc County, they did a larger search of the area and found more...
The remains of numerous women have been found in Leduc County since 2002. Last August, police said the close proximity of some of these remains suggest police may be dealing with a serial predator.
Poitras said there is no indication at this time that the recent discovery is related to the other remains found nearby
On Saturday, Sgt. Jack Poitras said RCMP were alerted to the remains after a call from a resident... However, Poitras would not comment on how many were recovered...
He could not comment on whether the bones sustained damage.
Poitras said there is no indication of when the remains may have been left there, but he said police do not believe the incident is recent.

LeDuc County is not too far from where Patricia Salamandyk went missing in 1972. She lived in Spruce Grove. I wonder how old these remains are.
I don't really care for the way Canada handles their matching up process. From what I understand, they don't run a missing person's DNA unless they think they have a possible match to a specific UP. It's not like us where they load up an MPs DNA and run it against the DNA in CODIS and hope there's a hit. This is my understanding, anyway. All you need is love and. . . .(fill in the blank)
