Detective Senior Sergeant Stephen Windsor did not detail the child's injuries or the cause of death.
He also would not comment on reports the boy had been thrown over a fence and there had been yelling heard coming from the home during the night

From the moment I read about Mason's 'unexplained death', my 'spidey senses' started tingling. Poor little lad.

Sad that it seems from the yahoo.com article that the neighbours arranging the funeral and the emergency services who were completely heartbroken by what they saw are more devastated by Mason's death than his own family.

    Just my opinion/observation.

(ETA I don't necessarily include his mother in that, seems she was uninvolved)

Mr Johns, who arrived at the property yesterday to collect a puppy, said Mason's mother was pregnant with Mr O'Sullivan's child, and lived nearby with her other children.
    Mason was her youngest child.

Nothing on Mason's postmortem results yet. I suppose we'll know the outcome when someone is brought in for (another round of?) questioning.
Posts are my opinion/speculation with the exception of relevant source material.
