Jean Lyn, 69, was last seen driving from her home Wednesday evening in the area of 19000 90th Way. Lyn is driving a 2010 Silver Jeep Cherokee SUV with Arizona license plate number AJP2442.

Lyn is described as a white female with white hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 110 pounds. Lyn has dementia and a history of wandering.

Police tracked her cellphone to the Show Low area Wednesday but have since been unable to locate it because the phone is off,

Car of missing Scottsdale woman found near Payson

Jean Lyn was reported missing to Scottsdale Police Department on June 11. She lives alone and had recently told friends and family she was planning on traveling to the Payson area to purchase a piece of property.
Navajo County Sheriff's Office says they found Lyn's car near Carrizo, Arizona. Her purse and various articles of clothing were also found in the area.

Jean Lyn's body found

Navajo County Chief Deputy Sheriff James Molesa says it appears 69-year-old Jean Lyn died of exposure after abandoning her SUV when it got stuck about 14 miles northwest of Carrizo.

Officials have finally confirmed the remains found in July were Jean's:

In July, the Navajo County Sheriff's Department discovered skeletal remains in a remote area.

At the time, the remains were thought to be those of Lyn, but now that has been confirmed.

Oh I'm so sorry to read this. Sad ending. RIP Jean. How awful for this pretty lady, I hope she didn't suffer too much.
