SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) --
Philadelphia police are investigating after the discovery of a badly decomposed body in the Delaware River.

The body was discovered just before 7 p.m. Saturday (June 04, 2016) by the Navy Yard in the 4500 block of South Broad Street in South Philadelphia.

The race and sex of the body cannot be determined at this time.

A month later, in July, body of 17 year old student, Austin Wylie, was recovered from the same river. He jumped from Benjamin Franklin Bridge. In August body of missing swimmer was recovered there.
