FL - James Olin, 18, Bradford County, 19 June 2016
The Bradford County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 18-year-old with a diminished mental capacity.
A witness spotted James on Sunday night around 8 p.m., but didn't realize he was missing at the time, so the sighting wasn't reported to police.
Bloodhounds were searching earlier Monday afternoon and a horse posse was searching a wooded area near his home Monday evening.
Bradford County Sheriff’s Office "Asking for the Publics HELP" We are searching for James Olin, 18 yrs old with a diminished mental capacity. He was last seen yesterday evening just west of Starke near his home in the Crosby and Sampson Lake area. He does have medical issues that could be harmful to his wellbeing if not addressed in a timely manner. 06-21-2016, 12:23 AM #2The teen, who also goes by the nickname "Turtle," was wearing a green shirt, blue pants and flip-flops when he disappeared, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said it's possible someone could have asked Olin if he needed a lift, so he could be anywhere.
06-21-2016, 12:19 PM #3An 18-year-old boy with a reduced mental capacity who was missing since Sunday evening has been found safe, the Bradford County Sheriff's Office said.
Bradford deputies said James Olin Jr. walked up to a Gainesville fire station after seeing himself on TV and asked for help Tuesday morning.
