Australia - Jayson Doelz, 27, stabbed to death, Pooraka, SA, 9 Jan 2012 *Arrests*
A car linked to the fatal stabbing of a South Australian man four years ago is buried in the state's far north-east, police say.
Jayson Doelz, 27, was bashed and stabbed to death in January 2012, and his body was located two days later near Kersbrook in the Adelaide Hills.
At a media conference, SA police said they now had an "extremely" good understanding of the circumstances of Mr Doelz's death.
A Pooraka property, in Adelaide's north-east, is being searched by police in connection to the 2012 stabbing death of a man in the Adelaide Hills...
Detective Superintendent Des Bray said the property in Royal Avenue had been identified as the location where Mr Doelz was badly beaten by a group of people before his murder...
Police believe Mr Doelz was "forcibly abducted" and identified the vehicle used as a black 'FG' Ford Falcon ZR6 sedan with horizontal stripes along the side and a number plate starting with S.

Outback shed linked to cold case murder of SA man Jayson Doelz

'A shed in outback South Australia has been linked to the cold case murder of young father Jayson Doelz.
The building in Innamincka, nearly 1000km north-east of Adelaide, is believed to have built above the burnt wreckage of a car used to transport Mr Doelz.'
'Detectives, led by a tip-off, believe a black Ford sedan used in the murder was burnt and buried in a rubbish tip in the rural town, before the shed was constructed above it.
Before being torched, police believe the car was stored in various locations, including Greenwith, Andrews Farm, Blakeview, Paralowie and a shipping container in Burton.'
'Police have also revealed details on two persons of interest in Mr Doelz’s murder.
Both have links to outlaw motorcycle gangs – the Comancheros and the Rebels – and both are currently behind bars on unrelated convictions.
But Mr Doelz’s death is not believed to be a bikie-related hit.'
'The shed is now being analysed to see how the buried car can be retrieved.
Police say the owners of the Innamincka property have no connection to the murder.'

'There is no physical evidence connecting a woman to the cold case murder of Jayson Doelz in 2012 despite her charges, the Adelaide Magistrates Court has heard.'
'The court heard the woman from Adelaide's north was asked to clean the house and did so out of fear.
Her lawyer told the court there was no physical evidence of his client's involvement, arguing that her name had been put forward by a witness who had their own motives for doing so.'
'The woman and two of the men will appear in court again on Friday when Magistrate Bob Harrap will hand down his decision on whether to grant them home detention bail.'
'Mr Harrap ordered their identities be suppressed while police conduct identification procedures as part of ongoing investigations.'

Cold case murder weapon found: SA court
In September last year, three men were charged with murder while a woman was accused of assisting the men with the crime.
Detectives have now discovered a knife they believe was the murder weapon.
"We have recovered a knife we believe was used in the assault on the deceased," prosecutor Karen Ingleton told Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.
"It was located in the last 10 days."
The knife was found near a house in which one of the accused men used to live, the prosecutor said.
The case will return to court on March 31.
