As pheasant season is about to open and farmers are actively working their fields, the Police Department is asking the public to keep an eye out for anything that might be out of place.

LM last saw her husband one year and one month ago Tuesday as he drove off in the family vehicle at 5 p.m. on May 6, 2016. No one has seen or heard from the Great Bend man since.

“This is difficult not knowing,” LH said. Their oldest son, 7-year-old TM, still asks where his dad is and their youngest, BM, was a mere one month old at the time of the disappearance.

“He is more than just a brief story that you’ve read,” she said. “He is more than just a lost face amongst the missing.”

“It’s all the unanswered questions,” said Great Bend Police Detective John Reynolds, who is the primary investigator on the case. Both he and Lindsey sat down with the Great Bend Tribune to make a plea for information.

“There were numerous, numerous rumors,” Reynolds said. Supposedly, McHenry was last seen getting into an unknown make two-door black vehicle with an unknown tag number somewhere between Great Bend and Hoisington.
In the beginning, tips rolled in, the detective said, but not anymore. “I still get an occasional phone call.”

Reynolds said he follows up on every lead. He has been assisted by Detective Dave Paden at the Barton County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.

<< These families DESERVE answers! All four of these cases are connected by the people who surrounded them at the time of their disappearance. Due to recent information coming to light our community must demand an independent investigation from an outside agency to determine whether their connections played a part in their disappearances. Please go to Facebook Kansas Missing & Unsolved, The Charley Project and Google to learn about their disappearances. Search their names to see all of the media these cases have garnered, yet still there are no answers.

Colton Ross Barrera disappeared from Russell KS in 2008.

Megan Foglesong disappeared from Alden, KS in 2015.

Charles McHenry disappeared from Great Bend, KS in 2016.

Alex LaRussa disappeared from Salina, KS in 2017.

None of these cases have been solved, they have never been heard from again. All of these cases are inexplicably connected through the people who were involved in their lives. There have been numerous people admit to knowing all of them. Sheri Hope was married to Alex LaRussa (Disappeared 2017) her brother was best friends with Charles McHenry (Disappeared 2016) her cousin had dated Colton Ross Barrera (Disappeared 2008) and her roommate said they all knew and hung out with Megan Foglesong (Disappeared 2015) Charles McHenry and Alex LaRussa. Please sign the petition.

Our communities are being torn apart with fear and worry over the disappearance of these young people. They are so closely related in time, distance and relationships that it is frightening to think what is happening to them. If we can't find them and stop this how do we know it isn't going to happen to our children, our nieces and nephews, our grandchildren. We must FIND them!!!! If you can't do it for them, do it for their families that are suffering.>>
