Caroline Aherne tragically loses her battle to her 3rd bout of cancer. At the age of 2 she suffered from a rare cancerous condition. Of the retina. Just in the one eye. She made for a good recovery after treatment. And remained in remission.
Her second Cancerous growth was of her Bladder. To which she moved to USA to escape the media publicity. For a quiet condo.
Caroline's recent cancer was in her Lung. She had been a smoker. But in recent times as she had moved back to the UK. Writing more material. She spent her time back in the Manchester hub. Looking rather frail when seen in Chester on a shopping spree.
Catherine passed away at home last night (1st July).
She will be best remembered for her part in The Royale Family. And The Mrs Merton show.

2016 has seen the most celebrity deaths since the 1960s/70s.
