DETROIT - A 2-year-old girl is in critical condition after being shot early Tuesday morning on Detroit's east side.

Police said the girl suffered a gunshot wound to her body at 1 a.m. while at a family gathering across from the Chandler Park Public Library on Harper Avenue.

Family members spoke to Local 4 outside St. John Hospital, where the girl, Zanyrah Taylor, is recovering...

Detroit police have arrested a suspect in a Tuesday morning shooting that left a 2-year-old girl in critical condition on Detroit’s east side.

Little Zanyrah is still on a ventilator but is improving. Drs expect one more surgery and recovery for the little girl.
