Oh dear. Just what's not needed right now! More volatility in the region.

Both of the main bridges in the Turkish city of Istanbul have been closed by security forces, reports say.
Traffic has been stopped from crossing both the Bosphorus and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges, but no reasons have been given.]

Turkish Military Says It Has Seized Control From Ankara Government

"Some people illegally undertook an illegal action outside of the chain of command," Yildirim, the prime minister, said in comments broadcast by private channel NTV. "The government elected by the people remains in charge. This government will only go when the people say so."

Wow, I don't know what to think or how to feel yet. Turkey is probably one of our favorite places to visit. The people have been very warm and the places we've been have been beautiful. The only bad thing about Turkey that I've personally seen, is the pushy salespeople, but that's common in a lot of the countries I've visited.
It will be interesting to see if the refugee crisis and recent terrorists' attacks in Turkey played a part.
