Jackson police investigate discovery at abandoned plant site
JACKSON, Miss. Jackson police were investigating a grisly discovery on Friday.
A body was found in the trunk of a burned car at Ridgeway and Bay streets near an abandoned plant site in Jackson, police said.
"The subject is unidentified at this time," Cmdr. Tyree Jones said. "We can't advise a race or anything like that due to the remains being so badly burned in the burned vehicle."

Incredibly sad news.
Question: How did the vehicle come to be at that location given the fact that the debris, etc. LEO mentions being the reason for the need of two tow trucks being required for the removal of the burned vehicle. Perhaps an accelerant was used. The unsub obviously did NOT want the body to be IDed.
After viewing the news video, as far as I am concerned, Bay Street is closed. Don't go that way. :scared:
