Human remains found in Aransas Pass

A handgun and identification were found by investigators near the remains of the body. Investigators matched the identification to a man reported missing in March, the release states.
The Aransas Pass Police Department told the Coastal Bend Chronicle the remains are those of Freddy Garrison, 29, of Aransas Pass.

Missing AP Man's Remains Discovered In Rural Aransas County
ARANSAS PASS, Texas- The skeletal remains of a man discovered in the 1100 block of Shaver in rural Aransas County yesterday afternoon are believed to be those of an Aransas Pass man who was reported missing in March.
According to the Aransas Pass Police Department (APPD), the remains discovered are believed to be those of 29-year-old Freddy Garrison of Aransas Pass

But I cant find any further updates or official sources to back this up.
