'Police have reported that 56-year-old Nardia Clark was last seen in Little Street, Forster, on July 1, and more than likely again on July 4, but has not been seen since.'

'Manning-Great Lakes Local Area Command acting commander Wayne Humphries said police were concerned for Ms Clark's welfare.'

'"She was last seen wearing a white top and jeans. She has had no contact with her family members," he said.

"She left behind her mobile phone and wallet and personal belongings, and we are very concerned she has no means by which she can support herself."

Ms Clark is described as being of Caucasian appearance, very thin build, about 45 to 50 kilograms, and with shoulder-length grey hair.'

Human remains have been found on a beach at Tuncurry on the New South Wales mid north coast.

Two men found the body in bushland dunes behind the beach, about two kilometres north of Tuncurry, on Wednesday afternoon.

Chief Inspector Allan Fidock said it appeared the remains had been there for up to two months, and there was no indication the body had been deliberately hidden.

He said the body had not yet been identified, and the cause of death was also unknown.

Thanks for the link, Tootsie. I hope the remains aren't Nardia's but their approximate state of decomposition closely matches the timeframe since she was last seen. Nevertheless, they will be of someone's missing mother, daughter, sister or extended family member.

Yes very tragic for whover this poor person is and their families and friends.
