Aurora Police Chief Nick Metz said search crews have been scouring the area where Lashaya was last seen for the past few days. He says his department is treating the case as a top priority.

“We have received information that has caused us to have greater concern for her safety. We’re really asking if anybody may have seen something, or if they see something in the future please let us know right away,” Metz said.

Metz said police are examining video of Lashaya taken at the time of her disappearance to help figure out who she was with.

Oh my! She must be with a very dangerous person - I don't know what to think. Praying for her and her poor Mother.

Aurora Police just released new video Monday, showing Stine on the morning of her disappearance.

In the video, you see Stine near East Montview Boulevard and Peoria Street walking by herself during the early morning hours.

Jones said she believed her daughter would come back home because she left her phone charger, wallet, and she didn't pack any clothes.

Jones tells Denver7 her daughter is an honor student and was supposed to start an internship today. "She had an internship at university hospital for the next five days, she wouldn't have missed it for the world. She was so excited,” Jones said.
