Galina Trzepacz came from England to visit her relatives in the Aldershot area in Burlington. She went missing July 25 at about 4:20 p.m. during a walk near the Royal Botanical Gardens along Plains Road.

She is white, five-foot-six, slim (weighing about 145 lbs), with blond hair worn in a bun, police said in a media release. She was wearing a yellow T-shirt, black cotton capris and grey shoes.

Her first language is Russian, and she has poor English skills.

Police say she enjoys visiting parks and taking long walks. She has no known medical conditions but her family is concerned due to her age and unfamiliarity with the area.

Police ask anyone with information to call Halton police at 905.825.4747 x2310.

On Tuesday, she was spotted at the Hamilton Centre, at 36 Hunter St. E., inquiring about Nash Road in Hamilton. Bystanders gave her money, at which point she walked eastbound away from the GO station. Police do not know if she returned to the station.

Well, she doesn't exactly look lost, disoriented, or trying to find her way back to her sister. So, what's on Nash Rd that has her interest?

Wondering why bystanders gave her money?
Maybe G.T. was looking for the religious meeting place?

Quite strange. The RBG is just south of me and easily hooks up to parts of the Bruce Trail and up the Niagara Escarpment. Tons of walking trails lead in every direction from that point. I thought she may have gotten lost in the forested area of the Bruce Trail. That's what I would have initially thought but now to see her strolling through Hamilton, asking for money and heading for Nash Road is somewhat bizarre. Could there be some form of dementia here that is undiagnosed? Where is she sleeping?

Maybe she's a spy. j/k She's 62! So it's odd that rhe family is concerned "because of her age". She could be living the Life of Riley!
