Brueger, 31, ran the same 10-mile route each day. Neighbors said they usually saw her jogging with headphones on. She was focused on the run.

Thank you BDE. That ruled out the accidental shooting that I was holding hope out on. :(

Thank you BDE. That ruled out the accidental shooting that I was holding hope out on. :(

Nothing accidental about a tiny female jogger was shot multiple times in the back :stormingmad: I hope the coward who did this is located soon. I doubt he/she would turn him/herself in.

I first heard about this incident on Sunday when the victim had yet to be identified. This is a local story (Oakland County) where I live.

Thanks for the DM link. Have only seen a few photos in local media. What a cutey :) I hope LE finds the that murdered her.

According to some media sources, Ally had recently moved back with her parents in Holly, MI. The hospital where she worked is in Novi. That would be a very long commute - probably 90 minutes each way in good weather. Where did she live prior to moving back to Holly and with whom? I wish we'd get more information. Hopefully, LE is looking into these kind of details, but I'd like to know, too.

Who shot Ally? Police in the US hunt killer of ‘kind, thoughtful, considerate’ nurse

August 3, 201610:43pm

ALLY Brueger had a routine. She liked to run 16km a day, down a dirt road called Fish Lake. Last Saturday was her final time. She had her headphones in and may not even have heard her killer approach.

The 31-year-old’s body was found along the leafy road, bleeding in the grass in front of a home on Saturday. Police in the town of Rose, in the US state of Michigan are stumped.

Who could have wanted Ms Brueger dead? She was a nurse, an aspiring writer, supposedly loved by everyone, without an enemy in the world.

The trouble for investigators, is that it is often the way it appears.

The first sign anything was wrong came in a panicked 911 call from a resident. He heard the shots and went running to see what was going on...

This is just terribly sad. Their only child. She can't even be an organ donor because some evil piece of garbage did so much damage. And she apparently loved Boxers. *shakes head* Such a waste.
