    'ENGLISH ARE SO STUPID’

    Daily Mail
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...oungsters.html

Asked to take in a 15-year-old boy from Albania, Sarah and Giles enrolled him in the local school the very next day.
‘We were waiting in the corridor when we looked around and he had lit up a cigarette, which was not a great start,’ recalled Sarah.
‘He had a shirt undone to his stomach and a gold medallion and winklepicker-type shoes. He lived with us for two years and went to school as a 15 and 16-year-old.
‘But later we found a wage slip he had left lying around which showed he had been working.
‘But he was using a different name complete with a National Insurance number.

‘When he left us he laughed and said, “You English are so stupid – I’m in my twenties”. Ruefully, we had to agree with him – it felt like a slap in the face.

‘We notified social services, but no action was taken.’

    THE UNBELIEVING MEDICS

Giles took another refugee ‘boy’ to the dentist. He recalled: ‘The dentist said the boy had had his wisdom teeth for some time. He told us he could not treat him as a child and not to bring him back.
‘When we told social services they just said, “We’ll have to find another dentist”. It didn’t prompt a proper investigation.’

Sarah added: ‘We took one to an elderly GP who told us, “If that lad is 14, I am 23”.’

    THE BOY WITH HEPATITIS

Sarah said: ‘We had one who had TB and another with hepatitis B. He had been using my hairbrush. If I had scratched my scalp with it I could have been infected.
‘I paid £250 for a health check to make sure I was clear.’ Hepatitis B can be caught by people who inject drugs and have unprotected sex with multiple partners, and may be passed by a drop of blood.

    ‘SCHOOLBOY’ WHO WAS RUMBLED

Only one time was a ‘boy’ caught out. Sarah said: ‘We had one boy for two months. He told police he was 14.
‘A social worker arrived for a visit and brought their manager, who was horrified. She said, “There’s no way he’s a child”. He was gone that day to a hostel for men.’

Migrants and charity workers in Calais' Jungle camp admitted today the 'majority' of young migrants are 'lying' about their age to get to Britain as children because it gives them a better chance to enter the UK.

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sho...8#post12889778 Doesn't seem to matter or on topic, posted to remember.

Jamie Gorelick (WSJ 2004) was on the 9/11 Commission, just remembered, hmm

"Ms. Gorelick -- an aspirant to Attorney General under a President Kerry -- now sits in judgment of the current Administration. This is what, if the principle has any meaning at all, people call a conflict of interest. Henry Kissinger was hounded off the Commission for far less. It's such a big conflict of interest that the White House could hardly be blamed if it decided to cease cooperation with the 9/11 Commission pending Ms. Gorelick's resignation and her testimony under oath as a witness into the mind of the Reno Justice Department. What exactly was the purpose of the wall?" (WSJ 2004)

28 pages came out recently and Congress passed a bill for the families. Cooperation didn't turn out to have been an issue, after all.

    THE QUEEN OF DENMARK SPEAKS

    Express.co.uk
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/...uropean-values

And now the Nordic country’s Queen has intervened in the national debate with an outspoken rallying call to Muslim migrants to integrate into the country’s free, tolerant society.

She said: “It’s not a law of nature that one becomes Danish by living in Denmark. It doesn’t necessarily happen.

“We thought that these things would take care of themselves. That if you walked through the streets of Copenhagen and drank the municipal water and rode the municipal bus, you’d soon become a Dane.

“It was so obvious to us, and therefore we thought that it must also be obvious for those who settled and lived here. It wasn’t.”

    (...)

Speaking about the cultural values some migrants bring with them, she said: "We cannot pretend that it wears off by itself. It won't. Many of us thought that people who come to a strange place are a kind of a blotting paper that absorbs everything new.

“The task becomes harder, however, when so many people having various backgrounds and a particular religion arrive at once. They risk isolating themselves regardless of their will.”

And the veteran monarch, who ascended to the throne of Denmark in 1972, offered a scathing verdict of today’s crop of EU politicians who she accused of betraying European values in the name of political correctness.

She said: “If you can’t formulate what you stand for, it is hard to tell others about it. It needs to be worked on and every once in a while you need to put your foot down with somebody and say ‘Hey! That won’t do’.”

'A SOCIETY THAT CAN'T DEFEND ITS CHILDREN HAS NO TOMORROW'

Putin condemns Europe’s handling of migrants and says the child rape in Austria shows 'a dilution of national values'

    Daily Mail
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...#ixzz4P3kWZYsW

The Russian president has largely kept quiet over the refugee crisis in Europe but has now spoken out of his disbelief over its handling claiming that a continent that 'can't protect its children' has no future.

His comments come off the back of a case in Austria last week, which saw an Iraqi migrant have his conviction of raping a 10-year-old boy at a swimming pool in Vienna overturned.

He was originally convicted of the crime but it was overturned because a court didn't prove he realised the boy was saying no.

It came after the migrant, identified as 20-year-old Amir A., claimed that it was a 'sexual emergency' because he had not had sex for four months.

A second trial for the rape is expected to take place next year, but the attacker is likely to remain in custody until then.

Sentencing continues in Minnesota for convicted Somali terrorists

Six of the nine most recently convicted Somali terrorists sentenced in Minnesota (22 have been convicted in the past year or two). Three more to be sentenced tomorrow.

'I am a terrorist, yes:' More sentenced in ISIL case

MINNEAPOLIS - Three more Minnesota men have been sentenced in a plot to join ISIL.

Tuesday's proceedings began with Judge Michael Davis sentencing Hamza Ahmed to 15 years in prison for attempting to travel to Syria and join ISIL.

Following Ahmed's sentencing, his co-defendant Hanad Musse took his turn. Musse was also stopped at JFK airport from traveling to the Middle East to join ISIL.

Judge Davis sentenced Musse to 10 years in prison, after asking,"Sir, are you a terrorist or not?"

"I am a terrorist, yes," Musse responded.

Adnan Farah was the third and final defendant to be sentenced Tuesday. It didn't take long for him to tell Judge Davis "I'm guilty."

Three more to be sentenced tomorrow. Enormous problem in MN with radicalization of young somali men-- children of resettled refugees raised in MN. Interesting video in article--gravely misguided family members seem to think the FBI should have simply "notified" the families of the men, and not prosecuted them.

See also the WS thread in this forum on the St. Cloud Mall stabbings, by another radicalized Somali man raised in MN.

The FBI has said repeatedly that the MN somali community is the #1 source of islamic radicalized ISIS recruits in the U.S.A. It is a huge problem, and the Somali community has not been especially helpful.

*Not just my opinion-- simply search "MN Somali men and islamic radicalization." 645,000 results on Google.

Sentencing of Somali terrorists continues in MN- 1 today; 2 tomorrow

ISIL sign flashed in court after 30-year sentence

MINNEAPOLIS - After receiving 30 years in prison, the harshest sentence so far among the defendants in the vast and high-profile Minneapolis ISIL case, a federal prosecutor says Mohamed Farah flashed an ISIL sign to supporters in the gallery while being hauled out by security guards.

The eighth and ninth defendants in the trial are set to be sentenced Wednesday afternoon.

Thankfully, very thankfully, the FBI caught these 9 terrorists before they carried out any murderous attacks.

FRANCE: TERROR ATTACK PREVENTED - ARRESTS

    TPO Online
    http://nieuws.tpo.nl/2016/11/21/nieu...jnen-verdacht/

The arrest of seven people in France has prevented another terror attack, according to reports of the French Ministry of the Interior.
The arrested suspects are of French, Moroccan and Algerian origin.

Four arrests took place in Strasbourg, two in Marseille and one in another country, said the minister. Minister of the Interior Cazeneuve spoke of an exemplary operation by special forces in the night from Saturday to Sunday.
Six of those arrested were not previously known to the intelligence services. Which target the suspects had in mind, is not known. The Paris Public Prosecutor will further investigate the case. Since the beginning of 2016, 418 persons with ties to terrorist groups have been arrested in France, according to the ministry.

"ISIS fanatics were planning to target Disneyland and a Christmas market on the Champs-Elysees during a new attack on Paris next week, police have revealed.
Jihadists were plotting to strike on December 1 and had also researched sites including a police headquarters, Metro station and city centre cafes.

Seven suspects were arrested in police raids last weekend in the eastern city of Strasbourg and Marseille in the south following an eight-month investigation by security services, although two were later released."

ONLY 10% OF RETURNING JIHADISTS DISILLUSIONED WITH ISIS IDEOLOGY - REPORT

    Washington Post
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.7a945ad9fd60

A confidential new report by German authorities now provides deep insights into what investigators know about the mindsets of those who have returned to Europe. At the core of the report, partially published by German newspaper Die Welt, is the question of what differentiates a disillusioned returnee from a potentially dangerous individual who still believes Islamic State ideology and might be willing to conduct attacks in Europe.

Only 10 percent of all returnees are disillusioned with the ideology, the new data suggest. Eight percent of them might only have come back to their home country Germany to recover from being on the battlefield, before trying to return to Syria and Iraq, the report says.

According to the report, about half — 48 percent — stay committed to extremist ideology and remain friends with other extremists. The latter number might be particularly worrisome to experts: Most of those who left for Syria or Iraq were radicalized by friends or individuals they met in mosques or in Islamic seminars, the study says.

The large number of returnees since 2013 has put pressure on European authorities who lack the needed number of officers to monitor terrorism suspects 24 hours a day. The lack of observation could turn out to be a dangerous gamble, the report suggests.

EUROPOL SAYS ISIS TACTICS ARE 'EVOLVING'

    RTÉ
    http://www.rte.ie/news/2016/1202/835...islamic-state/

Terror networks such as the so-called Islamic State group are evolving their tactics to attack soft targets in Europe, which could see the use of deadly car bombs, Europol has warned.

Jihadist attacks on EU member states have not yet involved "the use of home-made, commercial or military explosives in vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices" as in Syria or Iraq, it said in a report issued in The Hague.

But "given the fact that the modi operandi used in Middle Eastern countries tend to be copied by terrorists operating in Europe ... it is conceivable that jihadist groups will use this means at some stage," the continent's policing agency said.

Arrested German spy was a onetime gay porn actor — and a secret Islamist

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...=.c2f2f02d2b08

Two weeks ago, German intelligence agents noticed an unusual user in a chat room known as a digital hideout for Islamic militants. The man claimed to be one of them — and said he was a German spy. He was offering to help Islamists infiltrate his agency’s defenses to stage a strike.

The agency “needs to tell us immediately what exactly happened and how it could happen that somebody like this was hired,” he said.

He told investigators that he had converted in 2014, after telephone conversations with somebody in Austria who went by the name Mohammed. Investigators asked him if this was Mohammed Mahmoud, an Austrian Egyptian who joined the Islamic State and who previously had run a website where he translated speeches of al-Qaeda leaders. The arrested man refused to confirm a surname.
It's my opinion if no link provided.

"A man carrying a gas can, matches and a book by the son of a terror group founder has been charged with making terroristic threats near New York's Rockefeller Christmas tree.

Yuriy Alterman, 38, was caught by police acting erratically near the Rockefeller Center tree on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said he threw a bottle into the street, became combative and screamed expletives at officers when they approached him in midtown Manhattan."

ANNALS OF TERRORISM DECEMBER 12, 2016 ISSUE
    AFTER THE ISLAMIC STATE
As the caliphate crumbles, rival movements struggle for the soul of Sunni jihadism.
By Robin Wright, THE NEW YORKER

    [...]

"On November 21st, the State Department... “credible information” indicated “the heightened risk of terrorist attacks throughout Europe.” The alert will be in effect for the next three months. Four days later, France announced the arrest of five Islamic State operatives who were planning an attack for December 1st. The targets reportedly included the Champs-Élysées and the Disneyland park outside Paris."

    [...]

"The rival movements now compete for franchises. In two years, the Islamic State has won the allegiance of thirty-seven provinces, or wilayats, in eight countries. Pledging and gaining allegiance, or bayat, is a formal process in the world of jihadism... The Islamic State claimed its Libyan province as the caliphate’s first colony in 2014, although it recently lost most of its land there, too. Other cells, notably in Yemen, are weaker or dormant."

    [...]

In a kind of jihadi shell game, this summer the Nusra Front rebranded itself as the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, or J.F.S., which means the Front for the Liberation of Sham, an area that includes Syria and parts of neighboring countries. It announced that it no longer had ties with any external group. Al Qaeda publicly concurred.

    [...]

And the quest for a caliphate goes on. “Al Qaeda might lay claim to it for a moment, and the Islamic State may lay claim to it, but there’s always been this dream of recapturing and bringing back the caliphate,” a senior U.S. counterterrorism official told me. “Who’s going to tap into that next?” ♦

DENMARK: 75% OF 'CHILD' ASYLUM SEEKERS FOUND TO BE ADULTS AFTER MEDICAL TEST

    Daily Mail
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...s-Denmark.html

Three quarters of so-called child asylum seekers in made to undergo medical tests to prove their age in Denmark have been found to be adults.

The Danish Immigration Service (DIS) suspected 800 migrants were lying about their age and asked the University of Copenhagen's Department of Forensic Medicine to run checks on them.

And having carried out tests involving x-rays of their teeth and bones, it was revealed 600 of the refugees involved were actually adults.

In Denmark, unaccompanied child migrants have the rights to a number of privileges under asylum law including bringing their parents to the country.

    BBM

It is not an isolated problem in Denmark.

Almost 5,000 refugee ‘children’ who have come to Britain in the past decade have been found to be adults.

Home Office figures revealed in October show there have been 11,121 disputes over the ages of child asylum seekers in that period, with 4,828 – almost 45 per cent – found to be over 18.

Their treatment as ‘children’ would have left councils and local taxpayers facing a care bill of tens of millions of pounds a year.

Despite the concerns, the Home Office is advising its staff to only challenge the age of a ‘child’ migrant if they look ‘at least 25-years-old’, it emerged.

The issue was magnified by the demolition of the Calais Jungle migrant camp in which supposed child asylum seekers appeared far older than 18.
