Hanes has been charged in Dona Ana County, NM with the murder of Officer Chavez.

At last report, he was in UMC in El Paso due to a self-inflicted gunshot to the thigh.

He will be be transported to the Dona Ana County Detention Center when he is released from UMC. That could be today according to local reporting.

As yet, Nelson has not been charged for the murder of Officer Chavez. That could change.

He is currently in Dona Ana County DC being held on a fugitive warrant from Ohio on the Timmons murder charge.

(Hanes has the same fugitive warrant.)

Kuhn is currently in the Ross County Detention Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.

She is charged with Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Robbery. Both are 1st degree felonies. Her bond is $150,000.

She was booked into the facility on July 27 at 10:59 pm.

    Known criminal history.

    Jesse D. Hanes

He was released from ODCR custody on 4-19-16.

On that date he was placed on supervision for a period of 3 years.

At present he is classified as a Violator at Large. Pending to change due to his apprehension in New Mexico.

His most recent stint in prison was on a 3rd degree felony Robbery charge out of Franklin County. He received a 3 year sentence for that offense.

    He entered ODCR on 5-20-2013.

His Actual Release Date (prison term imposed by the sentencing judge) was 7-28-2016.

His Expiration Stated Term was 4-19-2016. (The expiration date of the prison term imposed by the sentencing judge reduced by jail time credit per ORC section 2967.19.1.)
    http://www.drc.ohio.gov/offendersear...ns.htm#expterm

He became eligible for early release on 9-18-15. He either did not apply or was rejected.

The Chillicothe Gazette provided additional information on his criminal history:

Hanes pleaded guilty to indictment charges of involuntary manslaughter, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery at age 16, according to Franklin County Common Pleas Court records. The case was bound over from juvenile court in 1995, and charges of aggravated murder, kidnapping and unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance were dropped against him. The details of that case were not immediately known.

He was in prison until he was 32 years old.

Four years later, in 2014, Hanes was back in court. He pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated robbery and was sentenced to three years in prison with three years of mandatory post-release control. As a result of the plea deal, the second charge of robbery was dropped against him.

    Known criminal history.

    James D. Nelson II

Nelson has multiple convictions out of Licking County Common Pleas Court, including aggravated trafficking in drugs and intimidation of a witness in 1995; burglary in 1997; domestic violence in 2000; and various drug possession charges between 2003 and 2006, including charges of possession of a dangerous ordnance and felony fleeing.

In 2013, he was convicted in two separate cases where he was charged with possessing methamphetamine.

He was given, and violated, probation on several of the cases, officials reported, but the domestic violence conviction is the only one of those that didn’t result in some type of prison sentence.

Information from his most recent stay with ODCR:

    http://www.drc.ohio.gov/offendersear...spx?id=A706537

He entered ODRC custody on 6-13-2014 on a 5th degree felony Possession of Drugs charge out of Licking County.

He had a second count of the same offense in Licking County. Entry into ODCR for that offense began on 7-11-2014.

His stated term was 11 months.

His Actual Date of Release was 7-16-2015. Reduction of time for jail-time credit made his Expiration Stated Term 4-15-2015.

He was released and placed on supervision (aka parole) on 4-15-2015.

He is also currently listed as a Violator at Large. Subject to change due to his apprehension.

No motive has been made public for the murder of Ted Timmons.

Due to the nature of the charges against Kuhn and the criminal histories of Hanes and Nelson, I am inclined to think it was a robbery. MOO.

That's her. DOB and the photo are a match.

    Gallia County. Oy.

Gallia County constantly pops up for me when I look at Southern Ohio drug trafficking.

Off to see what I can see there.

Thanks, Ann99. It's always a pleasure to meet up with you on these threads.

Big, big thanks to you for getting this one open. Knew it needed to be done, but was avoiding it myself.

Have fun with the home prep. That's in my near future. Dreading it to no end.
