Two children were found dead under a neighbor's house Sunday in Houston's Third Ward and their mother told an acquaintance she drowned them in a bathtub, Houston police said.
The 30-year-old mother, identified by friends and family as Sheborah Thomas, is charged with capital murder in the deaths of her 7-year-old son, RayRay, and her 5-year-old daughter, Kayana.

She confessed to a friend who thought she was joking. He eventually realized something was terribly wrong, and drove her near the police station and flagged down an officer for help.

Awful. Unforgivable. So glad the friend she confessed to took the initiative and took her to the police.

"Lawyers said that Thomas fed the pair before drawing them a bath and calling her daughter to get in first.
Once the girl was in the tub, Thomas grabbed her hair and held her underwater until she stopped moving, court documents claim.
She then placed the girl's body on a bed in a nearby room before calling her son in and doing the same thing, it is alleged.
Police say Thomas told them that the boy struggled but she held him until he stopped moving, then placed him next to his sister."

Obviously she suffers from some mental illness. Poor babies. May they play with angels forever.

So tragic. It's crazy how people snap like that...on their own babies. Fly high little angels.

I wouldn't be diagnosing her with any "mental illness" just yet. She has a history with CPS.

"Thomas admitted to the investigator that she had used marijuana and PCP, and said she left her daughter at the bus stop with the homeless man after catching a ride with someone else when the buses stopped running."
