White male, 6 feet 1, 170 pounds, brown hair, green eyes. He was 34 years old when he vanished.

His dental info, DNA, fingerprints are not available.

DOB: Circa 1956

White female, 5 feet 5, 128 pounds, blue eyes, strawberry blond. 24 years old when she disappeared.

Her dental info is available. Her DNA and fingerprints are not.

The Langfords were last seen 17 January 1981 when camped in their gray 1976 Toyota Chinook mini motor home (CA tag 621PUL) on a remote Mendocino County beach near Rockport CA 95488. On 19 January 1981, a small inflatable raft and wooden oar were found in the surf near the vacant motor home.

I turned over a copy of my dossier to Sheriff Allman. Let's hope for results.
 
Craig and Christin married 26 Sep 1980 in Sonoma County, CA. I found two records and both spell Christine's name without an e on the end.
She has two different surnames indicating she was probably previously married:

So sunny found additional proof that Craig still lives. As mentioned in the above posts, I gave a company of my findings to Sheriff Allman. Looks like time to try again.

So yes, sunny, we seem to have a match for Craig. Which leads to the next question. What became of Christine?
 
I zipped off a copy of all the links above that note Craig Herrick Langford, and just dropped them in the mail addressed to Detective Quinton Cromer. He is listed as the investigator in this case.
 
This last letter finally evoked an answer. An email from the detective presently covering the case informs me that the given address seems to be a business that was patronized by Craig.
 
It doesn't seem like there is much information on these two. It's mentioned on wikipedia that they disappeared from an area known for its missing people and murders.
 
Anything new on this case? Did the detective discover if the Craig H Langford listed as still living is the same as the one reported missing?
