"He was coming into McDonald's and some female was going out. The door closed before she could get out and what happened is she said a few choice words to him," Nestor said.

Nestor said the woman's boyfriend went looking for Nestor Robinson, an argument took place, and he was shot.

Yeh. Seems pretty hypocritical to me. I'm sure all rational people will agree, murder is a much severer infraction than a mere slight of etiquette.

I hope LE are able to locate and apprehend the walking time bomb before he blows again. :fuse:

Apparently, there's no rush finding the culprit. No descriptions of the woman or the gunman. Surely there were other people at the McDonald's who can help identify these people?

This article does identify a witness:

<snipped>

Robinson’s friend, who witnessed the incident, said that the woman had “a few choice words” for Robinson as she accused him of not holding the door for her.

So, why no description?

This is just ridiculous. I hope they find this lowlife and lock him up forever!

Nevada Cops Hunt Murder Suspect Who Vanished From Interrogation Room

Authorities were still searching Sunday for a brazen and possibly murderous escape artist who slipped out of a Nevada interrogation room Friday.

The white Ford pickup that police said Alonso Perez, 25, used once he fled police custody without the suspect, leaving the murder victim's sister angrily wondering how such an escape could even happen and the police in a desperate hunt for their man.

"I can understand their frustration — we're just as frustrated ourselves," North Las Vegas police spokesman Aaron Patty told NBC News. "But the bigger focus is: We have a homicide suspect on the loose."

"I've never seen anything like this in my career here," he said.

To Mohammed's sister, Maggie, the seeming impossibility of Perez's escape mattered little. How, she asked, could there not be more security at a police department?

"You are interviewing a murder suspect," she told KSNV. "You couldn't have another person there?"

Patty said the department will take a closer look at the details of Perez's escape. But he added: "Believe me, this is the last thing we wanted to happen.

Police said Perez stole a 2016 Ford F-250 pickup truck from a nearby business and fled. Patty said the vehicle was returned to the owner Saturday.

It is really scary he was able to just break out of the handcuffs and escape the police station. I hope this guy is behind bars very, very soon and without incident.

I'm willing to bet that this woman's boyfriend has never so much as opened a car door for her. While it's common courtesy to hold the door open for people (women and men), it should never cost someone their life if they don't.

I am also baffled how he was able to escape. Usually, investigators are watching the cameras to see how a suspect behaves while they are out of the room... unless I just watch too much "The First 48."

Slipped out of cuffs?
Twisted them?
Broke the hinge?

What kind of cuffs did they use? These?

"A murder suspect who was able to slip out of his handcuffs and escape a Nevada interrogation room was captured early Wednesday, police said....
Perez was alone in an interrogation room when he broke the hinge on his handcuffs and escaped the police station with one cuff still attached to his right wrist, Office Aaron Petty said.
"He twisted them until they broke," Petty said earlier Tuesday of the wrist restraints. "This is an extremely unfortunate circumstance. We're going to take a look at the details of how he escaped." "

I hope they catch this creep ASAP!! This sounds just about as irresponsible as somebody could be. I hope they tack another 10 years on his sentence for this stunt. He's likely a murderer. He should have been in leg irons and been cuffed to the chair. Or at the very least, the door should have been locked!:banghead::banghead:

They did catch him, early this morning :)

The FBI turned Perez over to the North Las Vegas police, whose officers brought Perez to an interview room at the detective bureau station. They shackled his legs together and handcuffed one arm to a metal bar screwed to a tabletop. Every so often, a detective checked on Perez.

[...]

If the officers had been observing the footage, this is what they would have seen:

He escaped through the ceiling! Unreal! The video at link is slow loading, so be patient.

Earlier newspaper article stated suspect was due back in court on 9/22, by I couldn't find anything. Maybe somebody else Will have better luck.

Looked for updates today, nothing new.

Boy, the murderer sure got around with his gun after he shot Mohammad. So glad he's off the streets. Only thing is he won't get to be chivalrous, to make sure everybody but him opens the doors for his lady besides him. Maybe she can find a real man to date and stays away from all the maggots out there. I hope he gets the death penalty. If anybody deserves it, he does.

A Las Vegas man who once escaped from North Las Vegas police handcuffs while he was being questioned in a fast-food restaurant slaying pleaded guilty Friday to three murders in a plea deal that will get him life in prison without parole.

Alonso Perez also pleaded guilty to several other crimes dating to 2016, including armed robbery, attempted murder, battery, theft and conspiracy, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

Prosecutors dropped efforts to seek the death penalty for Perez and he pleaded guilty to separate killings of Jeffrey Johnson, 50, and Candelario Duran, 37, in Las Vegas, and Mohammed Robinson, 31, in North Las Vegas.

Perez's sentencing date was not immediately set. The Review-Journal reported that if he ever becomes eligible for parole he faces deportation because he is not a U.S. citizen.
