Missing Persons Case Re-opened After Man Convicted of Killing 2nd Wife
A missing person cold case in southern Colorado is now an open investigation into the possible murder of Dena Candelario, after a Dateline NBC special on a different homicide. Candelario's son Aaron says he has believed all along that his father killed her.
Ralph Candelario is currently serving a life sentence for the death of his second wife, Pam. Years earlier, though, his first wife and mother to his children, Dena, vanished into thin air. His son always knew something was wrong. It just took until now for detectives to see a pattern.

I just learned about this case on the Charley Project. Ralph Candelario was sentenced to life in prison on March 16, 2016 for the 2014 murder of his second wife. The investigation into Dena's disappearance was re-opened soon afterwards.
