No update that I see that they found her though.
Pictures of her on that page look really different from the one used on the missing poster.

It's definitely possible that it's her 😕 (Who else do we have missing that could be a possibility? It's obvious that someone told LE where to find this person. ) Who ever it is, a family has lost a loved one 😢
Although, I'm a little confused as the family had started a fundraiser page for her funeral back on 9/16 (you can find the link on her fb remembrance page) stating that she'd been murdered and they needed funds for her funeral.
 
I apologize, I was wrong about the date it was started, it was started approximately on the 5th (at least that's the first date I see of it being shared on the remembrance page )

There were two other older cases from Greensboro too but one was a mom and daughter and one was from January 2016. I think a case from January would be skeletal remains, not "a body" by now. So I just posted to the two most recent cases.

I think there is a good chance this is Cree because of that line in the story. They already arrested her suspected murderer. Maybe he finally gave up where he put her? I think her family knows from whatever evidence they had to charge the guy that she is dead and they expected to find her body much sooner than this. Praying they have closure soon.
 
Body found in Forsyth County identified as missing Greensboro woman

An autopsy performed last week by the State Medical Examiner’s Office and dental records have confirmed that the body of woman found in Forsyth County off U.S. 421 on Oct. 13 is Cree Asia Smith, who was reported missing on July 12, according to a news release from Greensboro police.

Smith’s boyfriend, Desmond Laquan Pendergrass, 25, was charged with her murder on Sept. 1 after Greensboro Police Department detectives established sufficient evidence through interviews and forensics to charge Pendergrass with the crime.
