Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

Police say they found the car she was driving near 95th Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard. Family members said it had been set on fire, but there's still no sign of Runions.

I'm very scared and worried for this young lady

I've followed the KK disappearance very closely, but don't want to get ahead of myself. Her car being set on fire is enough to cause a GREAT deal of concern on its own!

To allegedly be seen by the same person that KK was last seen by so many years ago is....wow. (does my sentence make any sense??)

I am fearful that this will not end well for Jessica and her family. I have no confidence that the man who last saw her will provide any information as to her whereabouts.

This picture makes it look like the burning car was found under a bridge. This does not look good.

Runions' family told 41 Action News that Jessica went to a house party with her boyfriend Thursday night, this was the last time she spoke with her mother.

"She had constant contact it's not like her to not return phone calls maybe a long period of time but she would eventually get back with you," Michele Runions said.

She adds, at the party was also Jessica's boyfriend childhood buddy - Kylr Yust.

    (...)

Runions' aunt said Jessica's boyfriend left early, leaving Yust and the 21-year-old woman behind.

"We just know that they left the party together," Michele Runions said.

Search for her to resume this morning:

We are very concerned for her safety. It's suspicious circumstances, her vehicle unoccupied, burned in a remote area ... just asking anyone who has had contact with her to call the police," police spokeswoman Capt. Stacey Graves said.Missouri Search and Rescue were called to the area where her car was found to conduct a field search for her. After several hours, crews called off their search due to darkness but plan to resume Sunday morning.
Jessica Runions’ family says she was last seen by her friends at a party in Kansas City. The host of that party told her family she left with a friend of her boyfriend. That man she left with was Kylr Yust, the ex-boyfriend of Kara Kopetsky who went missing on May 4, 2007.

Kopetsky has never been found. She disappeared one week after she filed a protection order against Yust, who was a person of interest in her disappearance case but never charged. There is a $90,000 reward in Kopetsky's case.
