Youngsville police chief Ricky Boudreaux said Keaton has been added to the NCMEC even thought they do not believe he has been abducted, they aren't ruling anything out.

My sons and I went to search earlier for an hour. There are a lot of folks searching plus divers, sonar and helicopters with infrared looking. It's been almost 12 hours and he's still missing. My heart hurts thinking of him out in the dark. I hope he's found safely tonight but if not, I'm going to volunteer again tomorrow after I drop my sons off at school.

Update:

The search continues tonight for 6-year old Keaton Jones in Youngsville.

The autistic child apparently walked out of the front door of his home at about 11:45 this morning. A dive team is still searching the pond in Fortune Hills. State Police will soon be on the scene with additional equipment to search the surrounding fields.

Youngsville Police Chief Rickey Boudreaux says they anticipate being out here all night. They do not want any pedestrians in the area and are not letting people in or out of the Fortune Hills neighborhood.

GulfCoast - thank you to you & your kids for looking for Keaton on behalf of all of us WS's who are not in the area. I'm so concerned that he might have ended up in the water - I pray he is safe. Such a cute little guy.

Community comes together during vigil for Keaton Jones

For the vigil, family, friends and neighbors wore green, tied green bows to their mailboxes, and released green balloons. Keaton's mother, Nikki Jones, said that amid so much heartache, she's grateful for the community support.

She said, "I just have to keep reminding myself that God let us borrow him. He let us borrow him for a little while, and he needed his angel back home with him. I thank God for letting me be his mother . . . Everybody here that met Keaton knows the hurt that I'm feeling, and if you didn't meet him, you can feel the person and the type of child that he was because he was like no other."
