I'm looking for a web database that deals solely with children who are suspected runaways. Does anyone know if a database like this exists? I've looked and looked, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

I don't think they have an on-line database for runaways, but the National Runaway Switchboard is a good resource. http://www.nrscrisisline.org/index.asp
Not sure of any just for Runaways. But if you go to the NCMEC site, and click on 'more search options', you can just put endangered/runaway in at the very last option box for 'case type', and get 760 records of just that.
I'm not sure if there is a specific database for runaways but there is a missing and unidentified database group on yahoo. I'm checking into it now to see if there is one...I'll let you know.
Ok I checked and the M&U Database on Yahoo doesn't have a runaway database for the sole reason that you have no idea how someone went missing, one can only speculate.
