ND - Nathan Hartman, 24, Williston, 27 September 2016Williston Police still searching for man reported missing Sept. 27
The Williston Police Department is still asking for the public's helping in finding a 24-year-old Williston man.
Officials say Nathan Hartman's mother reported him missing Sept. 27.Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

On Wednesday, local police were joined by the Williams County Sheriff’s Office, firefighters, paramedics and state and regional law enforcement on a ground search that turned up no sign of Nathan Hartman.
Additional search efforts are planned for today, police say.
“We are asking that property owners with vacant buildings search their properties, farmers to search their fields, and for hunters to search the areas they are hunting in,” a statement from the Williston Police Department said.

Search efforts so far have concentrated mainly on areas northwest of the city, where his family says Hartman often went for walks. On Friday, detectives used a helicopter for aerial surveillance, and police were hoping for leads from hunters out for the start of pheasant season, but no information turned up.
Detectives are looking at bus, train and plane records to see whether Nathan Hartman booked a ticket, and are reaching out to law enforcement and friends in states where he’s lived and worked.
