According to the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, 20-year-old Asia Macklin was last seen on Saturday, October 8.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Detective Capt. Brad King told The Union-Recorder on Thursday that Macklin had not been seen since she left her home about 9 a.m. last Saturday. She lived there with her boyfriend and younger brother.

Asked whether he suspects the possibility of foul play, King said he wouldn’t go that far at this point.

“I will say that this is very suspicious to me and very concerning to me, considering her age group,” King said. “Her age group is clearly dependent upon social media and cell phones, and the use of a debit card.”
